Hair stylist Mark Bustos ventures through New York City every Sunday in search of his next client. He works at an upscale salon during the week and pays it forward once a week by offering free haircuts to the homeless. The conversation begins with: “I want to do something nice for you today.” This venture began in May 2012 after a visit to family members in the Philippines when he paid the owner of a barbershop to rent a chair and provide haircuts to impoverished children.
