Poopcopter Drone Dog Poop Removal
Inventor Caleb Olson unveils the Poopcopter, an innovative drone system designed to pick up after your dog. Put simply, the quadcopter is capable of being guided to the approximate location of the dog poop before using a downward-looking camera and retrieval system to grab the offending package.

You won’t find a complex robotic arm, but rather a simple bell-shaped container on its underside that is equipped with a series of geared leaves on the open end. These open up as the drone descends onto the payload, and then close once it performs a quick rotation around the yaw axis. They can also open in midair with a high-torque yaw move in the opposite direction. There’s no word yet on if we’ll see a commercial version.
