Procter & Gamble issued a recall today for their Pringles Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger and Family Faves Taco Night flavors of the chips. This came “after it was discovered that a Las Vegas-based company’s hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) might be contaminated with salmonella found on plant equipment.” Video after the break.

The company in question, Basic Food Flavors, provides the flavor-enhancing HVP that is used on the two Pringles flavors in question. Procter & Gamble’s decision to recall the two Pringles varities was made on a recommendation from the FDA.
