Revolights are basically safety lights for your bicycle that when turned on, transform the human-powered transportation device into a faux TRON Light Cycle. Simply put, the Revolights system basically consists of LED lights arranged in a circular rings that can be attached to the front and back wheels of any bicycle. It uses sensors to detect your speed, subsequently causing the LEDs to blink, but only when “they are passing through a specific arc in the front and back”. In all, there are approximately 8 LEDs, rated at 35 lumens, per wheel.
