The future of racing will soon include Roborace, the world’s first driverless electric race cars, complete with front / rear radars, side / rear LIDAR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, front cameras and another camera on the taller fin where a 360° TV camera also resides. Powering everything is an NVIDIA Drive PX 2 supercomputer, which has 12 CPU cores capable of 8-teraflops of computing power and 24 trillion operations a second.
