Samsung’s ‘The Wall for Virtual Production’ (IVC) is now available in Europe, building upon its North American release announced at InfoComm 2023. Featuring ultra-large LED walls that enable production studios to create virtual content, while integrating them with real-time visual effects technology to reduce the time and cost of content production.
The new models, P1.68 and P2.1, boast a curvature range that can stretch up to 5,800R, resulting in a more realistic field of view. They also feature an updated genlock feature that keeps The Wall in line with the system’s signals, which means no more dropped or doubled frames. When this capability, along with the enhanced phase offset feature that adjusts the time delay between camera and screen, are combined, they ensure a perfect image.
