Samsung has unveiled what it claims to be the “world’s smallest color laser printer”. At 39.1 x 34.3 x 26.4cm and 30-pounds, it boasts 2400 x 1600 dpi resolution and 4ppm (color) / 17ppm (monochrome) speeds. The CLP-300 goes on sale later this month, priced at $299.

There’s 32MB of onboard memory and the CLP-300 can be a workhorse since it is good for a whopping 24,200 pages per month while the USB2.0 connection is a welcome addition in a sector where the standard still isn’t as widespread as it should be. The 35 dba (idle) and 49 dba (printing) noise ratings are also low
