Another day, another leak, and this time, it’s allegedly of Valve’s upcoming 6v6 third-person hero shooter Deadlock. The hero design is supposedly inspired by Dota universe, while the main map references a modern steampunk European city, somewhat like Half-Life.
This game purportedly had sci-fi elements inspired by Half-Life and Portal during the early design stage, but after some bad feedback, the development team decided to scrap that idea and focus solely on a fantasy world. As for gameplay, it is a combination of Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, Overwatch, Valorant, Smite, and Orcs Must Die. There’s no word yet on an estimate release date, as the screenshots point towards lots of work still needing to be completed before even a trailer is ready to be revealed.
