Hot Wheels is still one of the most popular toys today, but back in the 1990s, things were even crazier. Patriot PCs actually created a line of Hot Wheels personal computers back in the late 1990s that ran Windows 98 / 2000, complete with matching peripherals, monitors, keyboards, as well as steering wheel controllers included. These computers typically featured a 500MHz Intel Celeron processor, 64MB of RAM, a 10GB hard drive, and CD-ROM drive.
Shank Mods came across one of these classic machines and swapped out all of the internals for some powerful gaming components. It’s now powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Mini-ITX Motherboard, an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 XC graphics card, 128GB (4 x 32GB) of G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series RGB DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL18 RAM, a Samsung 980 Pro SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe, Corsair SF750 750 Watt 80 Plus Platinum SFX fully modular power supply, and a WD 14TB My Book Desktop external hard drive.
