Konami’s official Unreal Engine 5-powered Silent Hill 2 remake is set for release on October 8th, but how does it stack up to the original game? This fan graphics comparison provides us with the answer, or at least visually.
The first thing you’ll notice is the modernized third-person camera system, where James is seen exploring environments from the original, but on a larger scale. Combat has been completely revamped, complete with enemies reacting to gunfire and James can now use melee weapons, as in the original, while stealth has also been implemented.
