SION may not be the first solar-powered car, but it’s definitely one of the most affordable ones ever. Priced at just $18K, it can travel up to 18 miles on purely energy from the sun, and has plenty of high-tech features, including built-in moss filtration and bi-directional charging. The Extender model boasts 110-120 miles and can be quick-charged up to 80% in only 40 minutes. First deliveries are expected to arrive in 2018.
