The Sony Ericsson Aspen has been unveiled, and it’s the first smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.5.3. It features a 2.4-inch touchscreen, A-GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, and Wi-Fi. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced. Click here for first picture in gallery.

For starters, this release now includes a more finger-friendly layout (no stylus needed even when digging deep into the OS), support for capacitive touchscreens (huzzah!), and acts as a platform to enable multitouch.
