Sony has just revealed a new limited edition Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 console bundle and matching DualSense controller. Starting with the console, we see symbiote tendrils aggressively climbing up to the Spider-Man icon, while the DualSense wireless controller has mostly been taken over by the symbiote design.
The limited edition bundle includes a Spider-Man 2-themed PS5 console, a special edition DualSense wireless controller, and a voucher for a digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition. Already own a console? You can buy the covers and wireless controller separately. Pricing has not yet been announced, but the console bundle is rumored to cost around $549.99 USD.

The design was inspired by the in-game symbiote that’s taking over the console and controller, but you can still see some of the underlying red under the tendrils. This represents the various ways players will experience the symbiote takeover in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s a constant push and pull for dominance whether it’s internal or external and the outcome is not certain,” said Jacinda Chew, Senior Art Director, Insomniac Games.
