Sony is rumored to be releasing a PlayStation 5 Pro this holiday season and if that should be true, the game console will most likely retail at $599, or $100 more than the standard model. TCL is the company who started the first rumor after leaking a roadmap of ‘Game Console Generations’ at a press conference last year.
Art director Latif Ghouali came up with an interesting design that keeps the same color scheme as the original, but adds a few more curves. What we can’t see is the hardware beneath the shell, although AMD is purported to be developing a new RDNA semi-custom chipset for both the PlayStation 5 Pro and second-generation Xbox Series S | X, possibly with liquid cooling. There’s still no word yet on if we’ll get a disc and digital edition this time around.
