So, the custom PlayStation 1-themed PS5 console spotted at an event back in December was actually a precursor to this new Sony PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection PS5 Pro console. Its limited edition design pays tribute to 30 memorable years of gaming that date back to the very first PlayStation console launch on December 3, 1994.
The PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle includes the console itself with a 2TB SSD and matching limited edition accessorie, including a DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station, a Console Cover for a Disc Drive, and a Vertical Stand. It also includes a few collectors items such as an original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, and a limited edition PlayStation Poster (1 of 30 possible designs). Pricing has not yet been announced, but pre-orders are set to begin next week.
