Space Perspective Test Flight Spaceship Neptune
Space Perspective announced that they have successfully completed the second test flight of their uncrewed Spaceship Neptune-Excelsior, a fully-operational test vehicle of the spacecraft that will take tourists to the edge of space.

It was launched from the MS Voyager ship, and it then managed to reach an altitude of approximately 100,000 feet, which is above 99% of Earth’s atmosphere. The test flight spanned six-hours, where the spacecraft reached its peak altitude before performing a controlled descent and splashdown, showcasing its full flight profile as well as validating key technological advancements. Commercial flights are expected to begin in 2026.
