Most law enforcement vehicles are designed for paved roads, that is unless, you’re talking about the stealthy Inkas Superior Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) / Armored Medical Evacuation Vehicle (AMEV). It’s designed to go off-road, transporting up to 14 personnel or 2 personnel and 6 wounded passengers, over any terrain. Other features include: a hydraulic rear ramp system for easy loading, an optics package with PTZ infrared / thermal imaging, and an upgraded drivetrain / suspension system. “Powering the 33,000-lb (14,968-kg) monster is an inline six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 330 hp and 950 lb-ft (1,286 Nm) of torque. The power plant helps the Inkas Superior APC / AMEV reach a tested top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph). The vehicle also packs a fifth-generation Allison 3000 push-button transmission, 10,000lb-ft (13,543Nm) rated transfer case and an electro-hydraulic fuel system,” reports Car Scoops.
