When Super Mario Bros. meets Subway Surfers, you might end up with a game that looks like this one made in Unreal Engine 5. Re-imagined Games went above and beyond creating this demo, even without any game development experience. For those who don’t now, Subway Surfers is an endless runner mobile game where players assume the role of graffiti artists that have to run through railroad tracks to escape from the inspector.
While running, Mario can move up, down, left, or right to avoid crashing with obstacles and enemies. It also appears that Mario can collect coins, but we don’t see keys, score multipliers, jetpacks, magnets, and power jumpers like in Subway Surfers. Re-imagined Games has always been a big fan of endless runner games, particularly Rayman Legends, so it was fitting to combine the gameplay style with Super Mario Bros.
