Universal Studio Japan’s Super Nintendo World expansion will have a Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness roller coaster, and here’s a first look ahead of its opening next spring. We can’t see too much of the attraction, but we do catch a glimpse of the spinning mine cart.
In the new Donkey Kong area, test runs are being conducted for the new roller coaster.

Aside from themed restaurants and attractions, Nintendo also plans to release merchandise exclusive to this area, including a DK barrel snack container, banana coin snacks, as well as a headband. There’s no word yet on what other attractions guests will be able to experience in this expansion, but more footage will definitely surface in the coming months.
