UC Berkley engineers have developed the world’s smallest untethered flying robot, which is inspired by the bumblebee, and measures less than 1 centimeter in diameter. Put simply, this 21mg marvel is small enough to fit between your fingertips.

Photographer Danny Mcgee took the DJI Avata 2 FPV drone for a spin above Peru’s Catarata Gocta, one of the planet’s tallest waterfalls with a jaw-dropping 2,531-foot plunge. Tucked into a remote cloud forest, it’s framed by steep, green cliffs and swirling mist—a scene that feels straight out of a fantasy flick.
