At $369, the Mudita Pure wants to keep your mobile phone experience simple and refined. From afar, the device may appear to be a Nokia 3310, but upon closer inspection, you’ll realize that it’s a much more modern handset. The company touts that the Mudita Pure stands out for offering the lowest ‘SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) value among all mobile phones on the market, thus protecting users from electromagnetic radiation.

Nokia Luna Net High-Speed Internet Moon

With NASA’s upcoming Artemis missions, it would make sense to install a high-speed internet network of sorts on the Moon for astronauts to use, and that’s where the Nokia Luna Net comes in. It consists of the main unit, lander, and three smaller nodes. When fully deployed the main unit as well as smaller nodes form a mesh communication network fully autonomously, powered by thermo-generators capable of generating electricity in extreme temperatures.

Nokia 2720 Flip Verizon
HMD Global’s Nokia 2720 Flip is finally launching in the US through Verizon on May 20, priced at $79.99. As expected, this mobile phone includes only the most basic of features, including WhatsApp, Facebook, Google Assistant, Google Maps, and a web browser. It features a main 2.8-inch QVGA display that folds down when not in use, a 1.3-inch outer display, and a physical keypad.

NASA Nokia Bell Labs 4G Cellular Network Moon
It’s official, NASA has selected Nokia Bell Labs to advance “Tipping Point” technologies for the Moon by deploying the first LTE/4G communications system in space in a bid to help pave the way towards sustainable human presence on the lunar surface. This ultra-compact, low-power, space-hardened, end-to-end LTE solution should be completed by late 2022. The company is partnering with Intuitive Machines for this mission to integrate this groundbreaking network into their lunar lander, which self-configures upon deployment.
