Flip Flop Action Figures

Elmer Padilla, a construction worker from Manila, Philippines, spends his days at sites, but whenever he has spare time, it goes into creating these amazing flip flop action figures. That’s right, he starts by cutting normal flip flop and then assembles the pieces into articulating toys, including Bumblebee from Transformers, Predator, as well as several Marvel superheroes. Lada Transformers Robot

Gennadiy Kocherga and his son Sergey from Russia spent nearly 6-months transforming their old VAZ-2110 Lada into a real-life Transformers robot, complete with automatic weapons. “It looks like a world-class car, it can drive and shoot, it performs the same tricks as seen in the film, in the cartoons. The next year, we plan to build another two cars, based on the same concept. We already have a lot of quirky ideas,” said Gennadiy. Letrons Transforming BMW Robot

Letvision’s Letron is no longer a concept, and the life-sized transforming BMW 3-series robot has hit the streets. Unlike other giant robots, this one was created from a real car, and boasts a hydraulics system that can be remotely controlled for the transformation process. Future upgrades plan to make it drivable, which would integrate a passenger seat, though it won’t exactly be street legal. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery. BMW Transformer

Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of computer-rendered transforming robots, whether it be cell phones or cars, but now, Turkish company Letron might have just created the real deal. They took a real BMW E90 3-Series car, took apart the body, and created a giant robot that can be remotely controlled. Apparently, they have plans to create more versions, using different bodies. This living space is immersed in the hillside and accentuates the distinct views of both Los Angeles and the Santa Monica mountain range. Boeing 777 Transformer

Animator Michael Schmidt wanted to show the world that even robots have to unload once in a while, and this one just so happened to be of a Boeing 777 jumbo jet landing at Frankfurt Airport to take care of things. Sure, the scene may be computer-generated, but it’s not too far-fetched to picture giant transforming robots running around in the near future. Bumblebee Barricade Transformers

Michael Bay, director of Transformers 5: The Last Knight, has revealed a new vehicle for the latest installment: the Decepticon Barricade, based on the sixth-generation Ford Mustang. It features protective bars up front and the “to punish and enslave” tag on its rear fenders, along with blacked-out headlight surrounds, vented hood and A-pillar-mounted spotlights. Optimus Prime Truck

Transformers fans who’ve always wanted the 1992 Peterbilt 379 Optimus Prime stunt truck rejoice! This vehicle can now be yours if the price is right, at Barrett Jackson’s next auction. An entire team of artists and illustrators worked tirelessly to come up with just the right look for each robot/vehicle. When the film’s production designer showed Michael Bay a photo of the enormous Peterbilt tractor, he was immediately taken by the lines and size of the truck, even through he know he would face intense criticism for his choice Continue reading for a few more videos of this truck. Camaro SS Bumblebee

Transformers and muscle car fans rejoice! The original 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS featured in Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is being auctioned of by Barrett Jackson later this month. For those who don’t remember, the vehicle plays Bumblebee before it’s replaced by a futuristic Camaro SS concept. Where has it been since filming? In the garage of none other than director Michael Bay. Notable modifications include: a widebody kit w/flared wheel arches, a large front splitter, larger wheels, matte yellow accents, Transformers badges and a bootlid lip spoiler. Boeing 777 Transformer

At first, it seems like a normal Boeing 777 landing at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, but a few seconds in, and it becomes a scene straight from a Transformers movie. That’s right, viewers are greeted with beautiful CGI of the plane turning into a robot as it comes in for a landing. YouTube user Michael Schmidt uploaded the video on December 2, and it’s currently sitting at over 2.7-million views.
