TECNO Pocket Go is touted as the industry’s first augmented reality gaming set, or more specifically, a device that combines AR glasses and an AR Windows handheld. It comes equipped with a 0.71-inch Micro-OLED screen that simulates the experience of viewing a 215-inch screen from 6-meters (19.7-feet) away.
The headset features a six-axis gyroscope, N’BASS nano-structured acoustic materials, advanced AI head-tracking and vibration algorithms to enhance the immersive experience. As for the Pocket Windows Handheld, it’s 50% smaller and 30% lighter compared to to its competitors, resembling a smartphone of sorts. It boast the latest gaming CPU that offers 35W performance with offer eight cores, 16 threads, and turbo frequencies of up to 5.1 GHz, while a 50Wh replaceable battery allows for uninterrupted gaming. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
