First announced earlier this year, the TECNO Pocket Go basically crams a handheld gaming PC into AR glasses and a controller. The glasses feature two 0.71 inch micro LED displays (1080p resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate) that mimic the experience of watching a 215 inch screen 20 feet away.
Hardware wise, it boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, integrated 2.7 GHz Radeon 780M graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a replaceable 50Wh battery, which should be good for at least a few hours of continuous play on a single charge. You can pre-order one on Kickstarter now, priced from around $870 USD for both. Shipments are expected to begin in December 2024, so early backers should receive their units before year end.
