Tesla Cybertruck Crash Test Video NHTSA
We know the Tesla Cybertruck can take a full bullets, but how well does it fare in accidents? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) put the Cybertruck through several front / side crash protection and rollover risk tests to find out.

The frontal collision test resulted in a 5-star rating for the driver and 4-star rating for the passenger, while the side crash testing yielded 5-stars all around. Last, but not least, the Cybertruck received a 12.40% rollover risk in a single-vehicle, loss-of-control scenario, which equates to a 4-star rating.

Thanks to the Tesla Cybertruck engineers for keeping me, my wife and granddaughter safe. The quick and direct steering kept us from a head-on at freeway speeds. The tough skin kept the Ford Expedition sliding from the front door, where it first hit, towards the rear where the left rear wheel assembly got torn off, dissipating energy. The low center of gravity kept us from flipping as we were spun around. And, the side air bags provided a soft landing for my head and shoulders (it felt no worse than falls I’ve had skiing),” said one commenter.
