Tesla Cybertruck vs Rivian R1T Tug of War
A tug of war match is nothing out of the ordinary, but when it involves a Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T Premium Tri Motor Max Pack, things take an unusual twist to say the least. At 7,016 pounds, the latter has three electric motors making a combined 850 hp and 1,103 lb-ft of torque, enabling the EV to hit 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

As for the 6,876 pound Cybertruck, the one being tested here isn’t the Cyberbeast, which means there are only two motors that generate a combined 845 hp and 864 lb-ft of torque, helping it accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds. With that said, this tug of war match really came down to which vehicle had better traction and tires.

Tesla Cybertruck vs Rivian R1T Tug of War

It’s not about power nor torque. It’s a battle of traction. One moved the other backwards twice, so imho there’s a clear winner what vehicle has the better tire!,” said one commenter.
