Officially called the ‘Bug Zappa’, this VW Beetle may look normal, besides the large rear wing, at first, but it’s actually powered by two Tesla-sourced electric motors making 800 hp and 686 lb-ft of torque. Now the biggest question is if this EV is fast enough to take on a Porsche GT3 RS and Lamborghini Aventador SV in a drag racing showdown.
Power for the GT3 RS comes from a naturally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine generating 525 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just 3.0-seconds. Last, but not least, the Lamborghini Aventador SV comes equipped with a naturally-aspirated 6.5L V12 engine producing 750 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque.

Incredible drag race! The Tesla Beetle absolutely stole the show – that acceleration was mind-blowing. It’s awesome to see such a unique lineup going head-to-head,” said one commenter.
