Glass Wave Sculptures

Paul DeSomma and Marsha Blaker specialize in creating glass sculptures that look just like frozen waves caught mid-crash, spraying surf from the contained vessels. They appear as seamless gradients, with dark blues encircling the base while white froth circles the top of the pieces crafted from molten glass. “Marsha’s detail-oriented work is influenced by the intricacies of the marine environment, with emphasis on the myriad of textures and colors. Paul, a minimalist at heart, is most interested in freehand solid glass sculpting, emphasizing the clarity, form and optical nature of colorless and transparent colored glass,” reports Twisted Sifter.
