Security cameras show three thieves breaking into PowerGPU, a computer store located in Youngsville, North Carolina, at around 1am this past Monday. The group managed to disconnect the warehouse’s internet and DVR system before making off with over $30,000 worth of equipment.
Surveillance footage shows the group crawling on the floor with flashlights in an attempt to evade security sensors. Believe it or not, they managed to spend 2-hours in PowerGPU before triggering the alarm. By the time police surrounded the warehouse, the thieves were already long gone. What makes this case a bit more difficult to crack is the fact that the thieves left their stolen vehicle running, which means a getaway car driven by an accomplice was probably used.
