
Duncan Meerding, a Tasmania-based furniture designer, loves the outback wilderness, and it most certainly shows in his work. He scours for logs whose natural cracks emit soft, warm light, and says: “Many of my designs reflect my interest in light and its dispersion, represented by my simplistic forms and different lighting designs.
