At first glance, this just looks like a pile of rocks in the desert, but upon closer inspection, you’ll see there’s actual a massive home hidden within. Now if Tony Stark wanted a luxurious place near Joshua Tree National Park in California, this would be it. Designed by architect Kendrick Bangs Kellogg, it features an array of cast-concrete slabs that cover the home in a way that’s both elegant and futuristic. On the inside, you’ll find a parasol in the dining room that’s made from 800-pieces of sandblasted glass, a self-standing bronze washing basin in the master bedroom, and lots more.
