Designed by Olson Kundig Architects, this structure in Washington may appear to be a steel shed at first, but step inside, and you’ll see it’s the perfect weekend getaway. Its steel exterior can easily slide across all the windows, and mechanically controlled using a wheel. The entire cabin was built on elevated stilts to prevent flooding during inclement weather, while the multi-level interior boasts timber panels that line the floor, walls and ceiling.
