While it may look like one the world’s largest sinkholes, the one you see above, located at Sergel’s Square in Stockholm, Sweden, is purely an optical illusion. Surprisingly enough, this isn’t 3D chalk art either, just cleverly placed decals. Continue reading for a video and more pictures.

As you can probably already see from the video, this illusion was created with cleverly designed vinyl decals, which were then placed directly onto the floor of Sergel’s Square. A photo opportunity was provided for guests on the railing above, and we have to say, it really does appear as if you’re about to fall into the sinkhole.
