The first Thor: Love and Thunder trailer has been released, and it reveals a lot more about the upcoming film than anticipated. This installment follows the events of Avengers: Endgame and has Thor continuing to seek inner peace. He ends up recruiting Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who eventually becomes the Mighty Thor, to help stop Gorr (Christian Bale) the God Butcher from eliminating all gods. Director Taika Waititi adapted elements from Jason Aaron’s run on the Mighty Thor comic book for this film, which sees Jane Foster assuming the powers of Thor while getting treatment for cancer. Filming first started January 2021 in Sydney, Australia, and wrapped up around 6-months later at the beginning of June.
