PhoneScoop recently got their hands on RIM’s newly released Blackberry Pearl and provides us with their first impressions. Just a quick refresher, it features a 240 x 260 TFT display, 1.3-megapixel camera, 64MB Flash memory, microSD card slot, media playback, Bluetooth 2.0, and a SureType keypad. Video after the jump.

The Pearl is a fantastic piece of hardware, and for Blackberry users it is a serious upgrade in size and style over whatever previous models they own. But new users who are into trying out a Blackberry because of the sleek form may want to look at smartphones from other manufacturers if you’re going to do more than read your email and make phone calls
