The floating design echoes the villain’s lair in the Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me – and the underwater buildings from BBC’s hit Octonauts, which any parent of young children will be all too familiar with. According to the design, photovoltaic panels cover the sleek boat like a skin. The films in the panels make use of a dye that absorbs light and transforms it into electricity for those staying on board.
