Believe it or not, Chloe Mayo, an aspiring artist from Surrey, England, painted the man of her dreams two months prior to actually meeting him through an online dating site. Mayo was so shocked by the semblance that she hid the painting fearing that this person had been stalking her. Continue reading to see what he looks like in real-life.

In 2009, Chloe, who was single at the time, painted a romantic image of her holding hands with a tall, dark, bearded man. Luckily, Michael wasn’t put off by his painted clone, and the two continued their relationship. Eighteen months after they first met, he asked Chloe�s hand in marriage, while vacationing in the south of France.

Today, the painting is hung in their lounge, and all their friends have started calling Michael, “the man in the painting”. “I never would have thought I’d have predicted my husband and I don’t normally believe in that sort of thing, but I suppose it must be fate,” Chloe Mayo concluded.
