Unlike the tank simulator from the 1970s, this World of Tanks battle station has a physical cannon that can be used to interact with the game. An Oculus Go VR headset is used to aim the cannon, while a crank controller replicates what you’d find on a real-life arcade machine.
That’s not all, you can also load empty soda bottles into a working CO2 cannon for each shot. Some may not find this impressive, but since World of Tanks does not support external controllers, these gamers had to map each physical object to a key on their keyboard. Yes, software like JoyToKey, can do this for you, but it definitely took lots of time to translate them into functional keyboard and mouse inputs.
