With a wingspan of 20-feet and weighing in at 98-pounds, this Boeing B-50 Superfortress is claimed to be the world’s largest remote-controlled model aircraft. It took Tony Nijhuis approximately 2-years to build in his garage, at the cost of $12,280. Video after the break.

It has 96 batteries that power four electric motors which drive the aircraft to 40mph along a 50m runway before it takes off. It can then fly for eight minutes in the air before it has to descend so the batteries can be recharged.
