David Irvine, the artist behind the Gnarled Branch, isn’t your normal illustrator and crafter. In addition to being known for whimsical furniture and Gothic sculptures, his most famous works are in his ‘Re-Directed Paintings’ series, where he finds old and/or discarded thrift store paintings and gives them new life by adding pop culture icons.
