iPhone Smartcase Classic Cinema Camera

Unlike other iPhone accessories, the Lumenati CS1 is cinematic “smartcase” that “combine[s] the technological features of a digital device with the cool design, ergonomic ease and natural narrative that the lo-fi classic camera is known for.” It’s focused on iPhone film making, with its gun-style handle that offers a more comfortable and stable way to shoot footage, as well as a finger trigger to turn on recording when it’s pulled and off when it’s released. Similar to a real vintage cinema camera, the lenses are designed to be interchangeable between wide, fisheye and telephoto styles and are compatible any standard 58mm auxiliary lens. The case itself also has an integrated viewfinder, which should be handy for filming in bright environments. The CS1 basically routes the iPhone’s camera to the front using a set of mirrors, complete with auto image stabilization using the iPhone’s existing software.
