104-Year-Old Zoox Robotaxi
Living for 104-years has given Lilabel Babcock the chance to witness technology that most would not have imagined at the turn of the 20th century, including the rise of the autonomous Zoox robotaxi. She believes that current vehicles have become ‘quite expensive’ and is glad that there are robotaxis capable of picking her up for errands.

What separates a Zoox from its competition are the company’s bidirectional vehicles, which means they can move forward and backward with ease. This makes pulling into a parking space and then backing out a breeze. They also have carriage seating, where riders face each other, in hopes of promoting social interaction. You can currently find Zoox robotaxis in major cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Seattle.
