The first 15-inch Apple MacBook Air was revealed today during WWDC 2023, and it’s definitely no slouch. At 3.3-pounds and measuring 0.45-inches thick, it features a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina (2560 x 1664) display, an M2 processor, up to 24GB of RAM, 2TB of internal storage, 1080p camera, two Thunderbolt ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as MagSafe charging.
Despite being lighter and thinner than the competition, the 15-inch MacBook Air’s M2 processor delivers 100GB/s of memory bandwidth and supports up to 24GB of fast unified memory, making multitasking and working with complex workloads ultra smooth. Plus, there’s a new six-speaker sound system with two tweeters and two sets of force-cancelling woofers, complete with Dolby Atmos support. It’s available to pre-order today starting at $1,299 USD in Starlight, Space Gray, Silver and Midnight, with shipments arriving on June 13.
