Brazil Video Game

Brazil has full potential to be the largest market for games in Latin America, a position currently occupied by Mexico. According to Daniel Cervantes, director of games and entertainment division of Microsoft for Latin America, Brazil occupies the 15th position in world ranking of video games, with 600,000 consoles sold annually. National companies of games trying to change that with the government: in August 2006, Abragames submitted to the Ministry of Finance a plan suggesting ways of reducing the tax burden to the games.
