2016 Acura NSX Official Detroit

Unlike its predecessor, the 2016 Acura NSX is more than just a mid-engined supercar, as it uses a twin-turbo V6 engine, paired with 3 electric motors to achieve a blistering 550-plus-horsepower and mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Acura Vice President Erik Berkman says that it will be priced at around $150,000, and the company will begin taking orders this summer. “With hybrid power going to the back wheels and pure electric power up front, the NSX features a so-called ‘Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive’ system, much like that in the RLX hybrid, only reversed. As such, the car uses front-axle torque vectoring and a launch mode for ultimate stoplight getaways,” according to Car and Driver.
