Concept Crafted Creations built a 3D-printed water gun capable of shooting ice bullets, but this isn’t a project that most will be able to complete at home during the weekend. The main reason being that it requires several other parts, like a PVC air tank for propulsion.
In addition to the 3D-printed shell and PVC air tank, you’ll also need a custom CNC-machined block from PCBway that acts as a freeze chamber. Put simply, water first enters an aluminum block, and is then cooled by thermoelectric elements. After the ice bullet has frozen inside the chamber and secured, it’s heated by a small heating element to melts it just enough to be fired.

Beautiful and clever build. It doesn’t fall within chatGPT’s safety definition, so it’s not a water gun anymore, but it’s definitely an ice gun. Or if you put fruit juice in it instead of water, it’s a long range high-velocity popsicles delivery system,” said one commenter.
