Finally, Apple introduces the iPad Mini 7 (2024), and for some, it will have been worth the wait. The biggest change is the new A17 Pro chip, which unlocks a number of improvements over A15 Bionic in predecessor, thanks to a 6-core CPU that delivers a 30 percent boost in CPU performance.
The A17 Pro chip, along with 8GB of RAM, enables the new iPad Mini to deliver support for Apple Intelligence. This harnesses the power of Apple silicon and Apple-built generative models to understand and create language and images, take action across apps, and draw from personal context to simplify, as well as accelerate, everyday tasks. Available October 23 in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray colors, priced from $499 USD for the WiFi model and $649 for the WiFi + Cellular.
