Not just any minivan, the Toyota Sienna Remix is a full-fledged DJ booth on wheels, complete with a 60-speaker sound system, high-resolution video screen, and LED lighting. To make this happen, the rear liftgate door was replaced with swingout doors, while the roof panel in the center had to be removed entirely.
All of that extra DJ equipment means that a 2-inch lift with heavier springs and 22-inch wheels were needed, along with plenty of noise dampening materials. The 60 speaker system consists of four 12-inch subwoofers, 36 midrange speakers, 14 tweeters, and 6 percussion horns. All of them are connected to 16 amplifiers generating 25,000 watts of power and a 12-channel Digital Sound Processor (DSP) provides professional grade audio. A total of six 56–Volt 4Ah Li-Ion batteries are used to send power to the 16 amplifiers and the 43-inch, WiFi-enabled monitor.
