Rockstar San Diego released Midnight Club II on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Windows platforms back in 2003, so it’s safe to say that the game could use a modern remake. Thankfully, NVIDIA RTX Remix exists, allowing fans to give their favorite games a path tracing makeover.
Since this isn’t the work of a team, but rather a single modder who goes by Hemry81 online, expectations should be tempered. This beta does seem to include the Arcade mode, which features a series of checkpoints, represented by columns of light. In most of these races, the order in which the checkpoints must be cleared is predetermined, and can be seen via transparent, glowing arrow points. Download it here now.
