The Huawei Pura 70 line of flagship smartphones has been officially unveiled, with the Pura 70 Ultra featuring a retractable 1-inch telescopic 50MP camera sensor. This rotating telescopic lens mechanism was tested by Huawei to withstand at least 300,000 cycles of expansion and contraction.
Right alongside the telescopic sensor, there’s also a 50MP telephoto lens and an ultra-wide 40MP as well as a 13MP selfie camera. Other features on the Pura 70 Ultra include a 6.8″ LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Kirin 9010 processor, 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage space, BDS satellite calling / messaging, and a 5,050mAh battery with reverse wireless charging capability. Pricing starts at $760 USD for the base model and $1,381 for the Pura 70 Ultra.
